You can do filtration which will let the fine water go through leaving the dirty mud behind. You cold also evaporate the water and the mud will be left behind. Though i think that will turn the mud into sand.

One way to separate mud and water is to let the mixture sit undisturbed until the mud settles at the bottom and the clear water is above it. What materials do you need to separate mud from water?

To separate mud from water, you will typically need a filter or sieve, such as cheesecloth or a coffee filter, to physically strain out the mud particles. Alternatively, you can let the mud settle to the bottom and then carefully pour off the clean water. You may also need a container to hold the muddy water and another container to collect the clean water.
