I believe since the amount of evaporation and condensation in and out of the glass would be equal the amount of water would not change and the temperature would be equal since the enthalpy of the reaction is equal through the phase change. this is just my assumption. ps:are you in ess55 at uci?
Water would condense on those items. This is what is happening when you have a glass of ice water, and water collects on the outside of the glass.
Hawaii is the only U.S. state that is completely surrounded by water.
A piece of land almost surrounded by water is a peninsula, or a spit. A piece of land completely surrounded by water is an island.
50 percent of the dissolved minerals will condense out of solution by crystallization.
A large area of land which is completely surrounded by water is a continent. A small area of land which is completely surrounded by water is an island.
They are goldfish
They dissolve until the solution is saturated.
it would burst
the water spills
If it is soluble in water, it will dissolve until the water is saturated. If it reacts with water, it will react. Otherwise, nothing will happen.
A saturated solution is one in which the no more solute can be dissolved in the solution and then becomes precipitate. Imagine a glass of water and some sugar. You dissolve the sugar in the water and add more sugar until not one grain more will dissolve--the solution is now "saturated" with sugar.
Nothing will happen. If you step out of a vehicle on the earth carrying a glass of water, what happens? The water remains in the glass. This is because of the earth's gravity. Moon also has gravity. So water will remain in the glass. But when you tip the glass to pour the water there will be a difference.Water will fall towards the surface of the earth six times faster than it will do on the moon.
increase
It will melt.
the volume of water increased when the water is froze
yes aerated water is saturated .when co2 is passed water becomes saturated
The water should evaporate if the glass was not covered.
