CaCl2
Chlorine will easily oxidise most metals when exposed to them. Some, such as aluminium, may need to have their oxide coating removed first to show the effects of the chlorine - in this case, the reaction would be quite violent given the reactivity of both.
Calcium carbonate forms.
Copper (Cu) is the element that turns green when exposed to moist air.
It increases the effective surface area of the compound that is exposed to the acid molecules. It also allows a solution to be stirred to further increase the rate of interaction between acid and base molecules.
sodium and chlorine are alike because together they make table salt. they also react differently when exposed to different elements on the periodic table.

Calcium tarnishes rapidly when exposed to air.

Bleaching powder contains a chemical called calcium hipochlorite. If it is exposed to air it reacts with the carbon dioxide in the air to produce chlorine gas. As you know chlorinne is very toxic and can kill us when inhaled even in low concentrations. because bleaching powder contains calcium hypochlorite that will react with carbon dioxide in the air to produce chlorine gas which is extremely toxic and will cause death even in small amounts when inhaled.
chlorine and oxygen
The total amount of carbon dioxide gas will stay the same if the reaction goes to completion, but if you crush the calcium carbonate, it would make the reaction occur more rapidly, because more surface area would be exposed to the hydrochloric acid.
