Almost every activity. We sleep on a bed made from fossil fuel derived material, get up and shower in water heated with gas or coal fired electricity, put on clothes which needed fuel to make, and drive to work in a petrol driven car, and then use elecricity all day in our job, then drive home and eat dinner, the food taking a lot of fossil fuel to grow and process, and then we watch TV with the lights burning and go back to bed.

they are used for household purposes like cooking & thermal-electricity.
Most of them release heat.

∙ 11y agoFossil fuels are used for lighting, heating, and we need it to live. We could not live without it because our food would spoil without the refrigerator on, because the refrigerator would have to be turned off. Then you would not be able to see at night you would probally need to buy candles if you do not have candles. Last but not least we would be freezzing if it was cold, and we would be hot on a hot day.
