definitoin-high area of level land separated from the surrounding land. is higher off the ground than a plain. flat highland area with one steep face it is like an elavated plain.

facts- they cover 45 percent of the earths serface. they can be formed by erosions or lava flows. some plateaus are used for farming.

Yes! A Piedmont in geographic terms is a plain adjacent to a mountain, and this is a landform. Pretty much anything land-related like, say, an oasis, is a landform!
