Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) are non-renewable.
They took millions and millions of years to form and are being used up in a time scale of hundreds of years. When they are gone, it will take millions of years again for the processes that create coal and oil to happen.
When we use them, they are gone. This is the opposite of renewable sources of energy, like wind and solar, which can be used over and over.
Renewable vs nonrenewable is a question of whether the resource is generated fast enough to replenish what we use it for. In this case carbon is taken from coal which takes 1000s to millions of years to create and we will have used almost all of our coal in the next 50 years.
So it is a nonrenewable resource.
A car is non-renewable. It is made up of many parts that can be recycled, and used for other things, but it is not safe for the environment, and as a whole, it is not a renewable thing.
its not its nonrenewable because once its gone its gone forever!! :P ;) :)
Carbon dioxide is renewable because every living organism gives off oxygen during respiration, so as long as there are living organisms, there will be carbon dioxide.
Yes Carbon is renewable
no
they are renewable and non-renewable resources.
soil is a non renewable resource
a. renewable resources. b. non-renewable resources. c. perpetual resources.
The negative impact of using a non-renewable resource, like oil, is that burning it releases carbon which immediately links with two atoms of oxygen to form carbon dioxide. This is a powerful greenhouse gas that is causing global warming.
Non renewable resources can not be replaced once they are gone they are gone for good. Renewable ones can be recycled in away and therefore are better for the Earth.
Because when we breath we release carbon dioxide.
It's renewable! It doesn't emit carbon dioxide greenhouse gases and other pollutants. It doesn't contribute to global warming.
It is used to generate electricity, without the carbon dioxide emissions of non-renewable energy.
Gold is a non renewable resources
they are renewable and non-renewable resources.
About the same as renewable resources, except that we cant renew the non renewable resources.
Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas), non renewable, pollute with carbon dioxide emissions, causing global warming.Renewable energy (solar, wind, water, hydro, tidal and wave, geothermal, ocean thermal, biomass, biofuel and hydrogen) does not.
soil is a non renewable resource
Eggs are renewable resources.
They are called Non-renewable resources.
Something that is not a non-renewable resource is a renewable resource.Renewable resources include:solar energywind energyagricultural resources
you can control the use of non renewable resources by using less
