Renewable means wind or sunshine, which keep on coming even if we use them to produce energy.
Other things get used up and don't renew.
So paint is non-renewable.
A:
actually, renewable is sunshine only. Wind and all other "renewalbe" sources are a bi-product of heat from the sun. Paint CAN be renewable completely depending on the type. for example, paint that was made out of a certain plant is renewable as the plant that originally took in it's mass and energy from the atmosphere and the sun. The paint then would degrade and eventually return to the atmosphere where the plant would absorb it again and the paint be re-created.
no it is not a renewable resource as it is not a resource!
Sulfur is considered a non-renewable resource because it is extracted from deposits in the earth's crust and once used, it can't be easily replaced within a human lifetime. It can be recycled and reused but is not produced naturally at a rate that can replenish what is extracted.
renewable

Silicon is considered non-renewable because it is extracted from silica, which is a non-renewable resource that must be mined from the earth. Once silicon is extracted and used in products like electronics or solar panels, it is not easily replenished on human timescales.
