Yes that's pretty obvious
The meter used to measure preciptation is called a rain gauge. Rain gauges only measure rainfall not preciptation because precipitation includes mostly anything falling from the sky. I do not believe there is one device to measure all types of precipitation. Although I believe there is such a thing as a hail pad to measure hail I am not certain.
Nimbus clouds, typically associated with rain and storms, are not fair weather clouds. Fair weather clouds, like cumulus clouds, are generally seen during stable weather conditions and do not usually bring precipitation.
the types of rain are acida rain and h2o rain convectional rain, frontal rain and relief rain. x
There are several types of rain, including light rain, showers, drizzle, thunderstorms, and heavy rain. The type of rain can vary based on factors such as the size of the raindrops and the intensity of the precipitation.
The Rain Rain Rain Came Down Down Down was created in 1968.

Acid rain is the term for damaging preciptation caused by oxides of sulfur and nitrogen.
Drizzle, rain, snow and ice pellets. Technically, showers are another sort of precipitation, from convective cloud, and there can be snow, rain and hail showers. There are other types of precipitation, especially in cold regions, and there can be mixtures of preciptation (rain and hail, for instance).
