Yes, the arctic tundra experiences distinct seasons, including winter, spring, summer, and fall. However, the seasons in the tundra are more extreme compared to other regions due to its high latitude location, resulting in long, cold winters and short, cool summers.
In the fall, the climate in the tundra becomes colder with temperatures dropping below freezing. Rainfall in the tundra is generally low during this season, as precipitation mostly falls as snow. This snow accumulation contributes to the characteristic frozen landscape of the tundra during the fall and winter months.

The tundra swan only lives in the tundra during the summer months. It migrates in the spring. Tundra swans have heavy amounts of down that keep them warm in the chillier parts of the summer. They nest on the swampy ground near tundra lakes and still waters. It's prime feeding ground with some of the thickest populations of mosquitos and berries in the world. So they can easily reer their young. Once their young are older in the fall they migrate to warmer climates.

In the tundra biome, spring and summer are relatively brief with cool to mild temperatures. During spring, the tundra experiences melting snow and thawing permafrost. In summer, temperatures can reach around 50-60°F (10-15°C), allowing for a short growing season before winter returns.
