How does condensation remove salt from water?

Condensation removes salt from water through a process called distillation. When water evaporates and then condenses back into liquid form, the salt is left behind in the original container, allowing for the separation of fresh water from salt water.

Why do you consider water as liquid?

Water is only a liquid in its liquid form, when it is frozen it becomes a sold and when it evaporates it becomes a gas

When water evaporates is oxygen emitted?

No. Evaporation is when water liquid changes to water vapor. In the vapor there are still water molecules. The only sense in which there is separation is that water molecules are on average much closer together in the liquid phase than in the gas phase.

When a puddle of water evaporates does it change into a new kind of matter?

Water remain water, only the state of matter is changed from liquid to solid.

What happens to water when it condenses?

Water can't condense. Condensation is about something turning from a gas to a liquid. Once it has become a liquid it can't be come liquid-er.

Does it rain salt water over the ocean?

No. Only PURE WATER evaporates from the ocean. It evaporates, rises into the atmosphere, and eventually cools down, condenses, and falls as rain. It may have some chemicals other than water in it, but they were picked up from the atmosphere. So, in a nutshell, only water rises from the ocean to make clouds/rain. The salt is left behind.

When do animal release water vapour?

if animals sweat,w\they evaporates and condenses into water droplets

What state forms when a vapor condences?

Vapor condenses to form liquid. Go to the bathroom and turn on the shower but only the hot water. You'll notice that there's steam/water vapor. Look at your mirror and watch as liquid water forms.

How much of the water that evaporates from a salty ocean is fresh water?

Only about 10 of the water that evaporates from a salty ocean is fresh water.

When a liquid form a solution evoporate the?

When a liquid solution evaporates, the solvent molecules escape from the solution as vapor, leaving behind the solute particles. As more solvent molecules leave, the concentration of the solute increases until no more solvent is left and the solute remains as a solid residue.

Does water color evaporate with color?

No, the color of water does not evaporate with it. When water evaporates, only the water molecules turn into water vapor and leave the impurities behind, which do not evaporate. This is why the color of water remains the same even after it evaporates.

How is drinking water made from sea water by distillation?

When sea water is boiled only the water turns to steam, the salt is left behind. Then when the steam condenses back into liquid you get clean, distilled water that is safe, if a bit bland to drink.
