Wherever divergent plate boundaries are
The most deep focused earthquakes would be found at transform boundaries. The shallow focused earthquakes would be found at Divergent boundaries. And the intermediate focused earthquakes would be found at Convergent boundaries. By: A ninth grader.
All three type of Earthquakes (Shallow-seated, Medium-seated and Deep-seated) occur only at the Convergent plate boundary. At divergent plate boundary we find mostly Shallow-seated Earthquakes only.
Shallow earthquakes typically occur at divergent plate boundaries, where two tectonic plates are moving away from each other, or at transform boundaries, where two plates slide past each other horizontally. These earthquakes are typically found at depths ranging from 0 to 70 km below the surface.
Most deep-focus earthquakes occur in subduction zones, where one tectonic plate is being forced beneath another. These earthquakes typically occur at depths ranging from 300 to 700 kilometers below the Earth's surface. The deeper focus of these earthquakes is due to the intense pressure and high temperature conditions found at these depths in the Earth's mantle.
Concerning earthquakes, the Epicentre is the point on the land surface immediately above the focus of the quake. The Focus is the actual point within the Earth where the quake occurred.
Shallow earthquakes are typically found in the upper 70 kilometers of the Earth's crust, particularly along tectonic plate boundaries. These earthquakes are responsible for the most damage and are often associated with regions of high seismic activity, such as the Pacific Ring of Fire.
Mid-ocean ridge earthquakes are shallow-focus, usually occurring at depths of less than 20 kilometers. These earthquakes result from the movement of tectonic plates along the spreading centers, where new oceanic crust is formed. They are typically smaller in magnitude compared to earthquakes occurring at subduction zones.

Most Mexican oil is found along the lowlands and shallow waters of the southern Gulf of Mexico.
Actually i found the answer. A lot of earths plates are found there and they rub against each other a causing earthquakes.

Shallow water where seagrasses and marine algae are plentiful.
