The scientists observe the changes in climate very carefully. They know that the daily changes in climate are caused by storms and fair weather moving over the Earth . They know that the seasoning changes are due to the turning of Earth around the sun.The most important cause of climate is the heating and cooling of the air.

The earth's seasons are caused by the rotating earth tilting on its axis as it orbits round the sun. This tilting causes the sunlight to strike the earth at a low angle, causing winter in the hemisphere tilted away from the sun. Meanwhile, the hemisphere tilted towards the sun, receives the sunlight more directly, causing summer in the hemisphere tilted towards the sun.

This is caused by the difference in position of the earth's tilt to the sun. When the northern hemisphere is tilting towards the sun (summer), the Southern Hemisphere is tilting away from it (winter) and vice-versa.
Liquefaction occurs due to seismic waves affecting the density and hence pore water pressure in (usually) coarse grained soils. It does not cause the breaking, tilting or folding of rocks.
Darwin was the scientist that caused controversy that still exists today.

Sensors at the sea floor are used to observe acoustic and seismic events. Seismic and acoustic signals may be caused by different sources, by earthquakes and tremors as well as by artificial sources.
A scientist making an educated guess that diabetes is caused by genetic factors is stating a hypothesis. The scientist may then design an experiment to test this hypothesis.
The seasons in the northern and southern hemispheres are opposite because of the tilt of the Earth's axis. When one hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun, it experiences summer, while the other hemisphere is tilted away and experiences winter. The tilt causes variations in sunlight intensity and day length, leading to the seasonal changes we observe.
