The 2015 Paris Climate Agreement was a success in so far as it brought all the world's countries together and got them to agree to do something.
All countries get to state their own goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Most of these goals are not good enough to keep global temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius. However, countries have to report every five years on their success, and this may make them become more ambitious.
We will know if the Climate Agreement is working by 2025 and 2030.
One hundred and ninety seven (197) countries are in the Paris Climate Agreement.105 countries have ratified the agreement (November 2016)
195 countries signed the UN climate change agreement, also known as the Paris Agreement, in 2015. The agreement aims to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
The conference for climate change, also known as the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP), is held in various countries around the world. It is an annual event where global leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders come together to discuss and negotiate actions to address climate change.
In 2015, major concerns about runaway climate change included rising global temperatures, melting ice caps, extreme weather events, and sea level rise. Potential consequences included more frequent natural disasters, loss of biodiversity, food and water shortages, and displacement of communities. Addressing these issues required urgent action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the changing climate.

Climate change conference allow countries to come together to learn, discuss and share. They can then determine if their goals are going to make a difference to Climate change. The Paris Agreement of 2015 is a good example of this.
The Paris Agreement of 2015 (to keep global warming to under 2 degrees Celsius) got its name from the city it took place in, Paris, the capital of France.
The Paris Climate Agreement of 2015 helps reduce climate change by letting every country set their own goals for greenhouse gas emission reductions. The countries will then meet every five years to review their goals. The aims of the agreement ate:To keep warming to below 2 degrees Celsius (below pre-industrial levels), and to try for 1.5 degrees. To manage the effects of climate change without reducing world food production. To help developing countries with money and technology so they can achieve their goals.What_is_the_UN_Paris_Climate_Agreement_of_2015
The Ukraine has a target to cut emissions by at least 40% by 2030, compared with 1990.It has promised to revise its targets after the present cold-war with Russia.

One of the more recent big conferences was in Paris in 2015.
The Paris Agreement, adopted in 2015, is a landmark international treaty aimed at combating climate change and limiting global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, with efforts to limit it to 1.5 degrees. It encourages countries to set nationally determined contributions (NDCs) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to report on their progress. The agreement also emphasizes financial support for developing nations to enhance their climate resilience and transition to sustainable energy sources. Overall, it represents a global commitment to addressing climate change through collaborative action.
In 2012, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) reached the Doha Amendment to the Kyoto Protocol, which aimed to extend the commitment of developed countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement set binding targets for emissions reductions for the second commitment period from 2013 to 2020. Additionally, the 2012 agreement included discussions and preparations for the 2015 Paris Agreement, which sought to establish a more inclusive and comprehensive framework for global climate action.
After the Kyoto Protocol expired in 2012, the Paris Agreement emerged as the key global climate change protocol. Adopted in 2015, the Paris Agreement aims to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, with an aspirational goal of 1.5 degrees. It emphasizes nationally determined contributions (NDCs) from countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance resilience to climate impacts. This framework encourages ongoing collaboration and adaptation to address the evolving challenges of climate change.
There was a terrorist attack in Paris in 2015. It was one of the biggest terrorist attack and was done by ISIS.
The European Union has a good target of a 40% cut by 2030 compared with 1990 emissions.
