Global warming affects biodiversity in different ways. These include:[1] Changes in the temperature levels,[2] Altered precipitation levels,[3] Frequent occurrence of diseases,[4] Change of food availability belts,[5] Disruption in the natural ecological relationships between different species,[6] The development of certain habitats and the waning away of others is a natural fallout of global warming. There are species, which migrate from one place to another to change their habitat.
Long term effects of global warming are:It leads to increase in temperature which further leads to melting of glaciers into water which causes floods.Due to global warming percentage of carbon dioxide is raised and percentage of oxygen goes downin the future, more hurricanes will be category 5 or above!droughts will often occurdiseases will be uncontrollablealso if the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increase then the heat from the sun gets trapped and water from rivers and the sea will evaporate so there would be lots of water shortages and more rain storms.HOPE THIS HELPS!!
Orbiting weather satellites :Since about 1979, each day satellites measure the temperature over about 80% of the globe to an accuracy of about 0.1 degree C. Weather balloons only make measurements at specific locations that are concentrated mostly over land, The real signature of greenhouse warming is not surface temperature but temperature in the middle of the troposphere, about 5 kilometers up.
A:The Amazon Rain forest is a massive carbon sink. In normal years this rainforest absorbs almost 2 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide. During the drought year of 2005 many trees died, releasing almost 3 billion tonnes of CO2. This 5 billion tonnes lost is more than the annual emissions of Europe and Japan combined. So the Amazon rainforest has a vital role to play in absorbing carbon dioxide, a potent greenhouse gas. See the link to the drought study below.
There are many ways we can prevent environmental problems, especially Global Warming. Common and simple ways we can help save our environment are as follows: 1. Stop using spray products with CFC's 2. Stop burning wastes especially non-biodegradables. 3. Protest against big industries producing too much carbon into the atmosphere. 4. Support our leaders in their struggle to implement rules regarding the protection of our environment. 5. As individuals, the only thing we can help prevent environmental problems is to keep our environment clean. Get your hands dirty, pick up dirt.
some issues are global warming, air pollution, and graffiti but we can stop the issues by helping like callin 911 and stop smoking and also another issue is that the athmosphere is breaaking we can stop it by not using airfresheners. 1 global warming 2 terrorism 3 global inequality 4 economic insecurity 5 natural disasters

to tell the Truth nothing at the moment that would have an immediate effect because the changes that we make now to stop global warming will only be visible in about 20 years so the best advice i have at the moment is to plant a tree walk to your destinations and turn off the light when your done in a room. P.S. don't shower longer than 5 minutes because then you actually start using more water than you would've used in a bath. cheers.
Burning fuel releases carbon dioxide emissions which adds to global warming, therefore less fuel used means less released heat, so if we use 5 gallons of fuel instead of 10 we have cut our fuel emissions by 50%.
Some people are doing their part to help stop global warming. For instance, some stores are selling environmentally friendly shopping bags to help reduce plastic bag waste. Some places are building windmills for energy and electricity instead of building factories that burn fossil fuels which emits carbon dioxide into the Earth's atmosphere. There are many simple and easy ways to fight global warming in one's home. For example, people recycle, reuse, and reduce paper, plastic, cardboard and tin. Some take showers instead of baths and only take the shower for less than 5 minutes. They turn off lights during the day and when they leave the room, and don't leave the televison on standby.raising awarenesscertain CFCs have been banned to protect the ozone layer
Though there may be some videos available, it is unlikely that they would be on a level that preschool children would understand. 4 and 5 year olds need to be introduced to much simpler concepts before topics like global warming are introduced.
