There are several sources of pH altering material:
There are three factors that affect stream erosion. These are water velocity, shape, size and depth of channel, and stream capacity to transport eroded materials.
The North Atlantic Drift, which branches from the Gulf Stream, is a warm water current the affects the climate of the British Isles.
We typically think of surface water as primarily existing in lakes and rivers. Moving surface water would primarily be in the form of rivers and streams. Subsurface water moves as well, though slowly, in many aquifers. Indeed, even a glacier moves water in its solid form. There is, of course, turnover of water in any lake or swamp that has an outlet, so that water moves in a technical sense, though the characterization of moving water would typically be reserved for water moving fast enough to be noticeable. There does not seem to be a scientific criterion for how fast water needs to move to be considered "moving" in the macroscopic sense. a stream A+
The stream bottom erodes more deeply when its water level rises in a flood; therefore, the more volume and sediments water carries along, the more bottom of a stream is being eroded away thus it deeper.
Creeks usually turn into rivers, they are the smaller bodies of running water that eventually make up a river other names are stream, brook, bray.
a stream or river that has low gradient has less energy for erosion
transportation, water, and fish YUM :)
because all streams lead to rivers and rivers lead to the sea and water is collective and gathers in the most siutable area.
JK they just went to the stream and drank that water.
rocks and fallen trees
streams are very small rivers, small amounts of water.
A lake is a standing body of water, a stream is a flowing body of water. It is therefore almost meaningless to compare their sizes. However a stream usually flows into or out of a lake and therefore logically the lake will be bigger because it either receives or supplies all the water in the stream.
salt water
soil gets carried off by either wind, water or gravity and then the topsoil is carried into rivers which can increase a rivers water level. As well, soil carries its toxicity with it so if pesticides were being used on that soil it will carry that into the water and pollute it.
Water cycle helps in raising level of rivers. It can be used by mankind.
