About 40 years ago our family doctor gave it to my little brother because he was allergic to chigger bites. His scrotum would swell twice its size from their bites. It worked! I guess your body puts out a smell making you not tempting to the insects. I had forgotten till recently when fleas are horrible this year with my pets and when buying something to put in yard (non poisonous) I was sold sulfur powder. I am headed to find sulfur pills to add to dogs and cats food to see if it will work on them!
