The answer previously was a bit dumb without any single information. First, pollution causes so many cancers these days depending on what type of pollution: Water Pollution, Air Pollution, Land Pollution. etc..,
I never seen such thing that a pollution can do. Do you know of the beautiful London? Well, 100 years ago, it wasn't a beauty at all. Due to technology that didn't know how to reduce emissions, London was covered with Smogs and rained down Acids mostly. The place also stinked.
Skin cancer is a major cancer gained from pollution. All caused by all pollution. Sometimes, by touching a polluted water, you can get a skin cancer(or disease). If you sniff the air, a skin cancer(most likely a lung cancer), and if you touch the polluted land, you'll get a skin(well, presumed skin).
People are trying to prevent the world from polluting, but it isn't easy due to undeveloped countries right now such as Haiti and many more African countries, which are the most answered faction by most of the people by the question, "which country do you think is the poorest?"
