The disadvantages of relying on fossil fuels is that it will soon run out in a few years time so then there will be nothing to soon rely on.
Sources of energy formed hundreds of millions of years ago from the remains of dead plants and animals: coal, oil and natural gas.

If we are dependent on fossil fuel we will keep pumping massive amounts of carbon dioxide pollution into the atmosphere (Thirty thousand million tons per year in 2008).

This is causing global warming and climate change, and is a serious disadvantage.

What are two environmental disadvantage to burning fossil fuels to provide energy?

There are many disadvantages of burning fossil fuels. These include pollution and also burning fossil fuels has a mesurable cooling effect on the climate. There are many disadvantages of burning fossil fuels. How is recycling like fossil fuels?

Recycling and fossil fuels are both related to the concept of sustainability and resource management. While fossil fuels are non-renewable resources that can deplete over time, recycling promotes the reuse of materials to reduce waste and conserve resources. Both have environmental impacts, with recycling typically being more environmentally friendly than relying on fossil fuels for energy production.

Why is burning fossil fuels are a bad thing?

Burning fossil fuels releases greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, which contribute to global warming and climate change. It also produces air pollutants that can harm human health and the environment. Additionally, fossil fuels are a finite resource, so relying on them for energy is not sustainable in the long term.

Why are fossil fuels not sustainable?

Fossil fuels are not sustainable because they are finite resources that take millions of years to form. Their extraction and use also contribute to environmental degradation, air pollution, and climate change. As demand for energy continues to rise, relying on fossil fuels puts a strain on the Earth's resources and exacerbates these negative impacts.

About how many people use fossil fuel?

Roughly 85% of the world's energy comes from fossil fuels, with billions of people relying on them for transportation, heating, electricity, and industrial processes. This makes fossil fuels currently the most widely used source of energy globally.

What are the disadvantages of fossil feuls?

The disadvantages of fossil fuels are........That fossil fuels are used to make oil , petrol and lots more so eventually the world will run out of oil , petrol which also makes electricity so life wouldn't be the same without fossil fuels. This is predicted to happen in the future by scientists , so to make a difference for future life try to use less of this in thw world today and while we have fossil fuels.
