Water evaporates faster at higher temperatures, so warm climates are more likely to be humid than colder climates are (indeed, in very cold weather, even surrounded by ice and snow, the humidity will be very low). But hot climates are not always humid. Deserts can be both hot and dry. Typically, a desert is in a "rain shadow" where an intervening mountain range, between the desert and the nearest ocean, is causing the rain to fall before it reaches the desert. Being close to an ocean is a good source of humidity. Lakes and rivers are also a source of humidity. Rain forests are humid, because the vegetation is very efficient at drawing water out of the ground and releasing it through the pores (or technically, stomata) in leaves. The rain is constantly being recirculated, at it falls into the ground and is again absorbed.
The four temperate climates are........Mediterranean, Humid Subtropical, Marine West Coast, and Humid Continental
Humid tropical climates are located close to the equator such as in South Asia and the Southern states of America. The latitude and proximity to a body of water are the two major influences on a climate being classified as humid subtropical.http://www.chacha.com/askChaCha/where+are+humid+tropical+climates+located+why+are+they+humid
They are pretty humid ranging from about 24 degrees to 64 degrees Fahrenheit
The range of annual temperatures is greatest in continental climates within the humid mid-latitude category. These regions experience hot summers and cold winters, leading to large temperature variations throughout the year.

Sub humid tropical climates are characterized by hot, humid summers and mild winters. Sub humid tropical climates get the most rainfall during their summer monsoon months.
"It's hard to say how lond a wooden garage door would last in humid climates, because in humid climates, the temperature always changes. It is unpredictable. The average length of time is: one to two years."

Landscapes in arid climates typically have sparse vegetation, rugged terrain, and limited water sources. In contrast, landscapes in humid climates tend to be lush with dense vegetation, rolling hills, and abundant water sources like rivers and lakes. The soil in arid climates is often dry and nutrient-poor, whereas in humid climates it is typically fertile due to regular rainfall.
