there are no certain clouds that "make" snow, it depends on the wheather. For instance.... evaporation happens, then when the cloud drops the load of water it "could" be snow sleet hail or rain. Like I said it depends on the wheather!
2. Snow bearing clouds (that are actually precipitating) commonly do not have a well defined margin.
A nimbostratus cloud is a dark, thick cloud that produces precipitation such as rain or snow. These clouds often cover the sky and are associated with prolonged periods of precipitation.
Snow is not a type of condensation fog. Condensation fog includes cloud and dew, where water vapor condenses in the air to form droplets that can then accumulate to form clouds or settle on surfaces as dew. Snow is formed by the direct transformation of water vapor into ice crystals in the atmosphere.
When freezing water vapor inside clouds makes ice crystals, this process is known as cloud seeding. These ice crystals can then grow and combine to form larger ice particles, which may eventually fall as snow or rain. Cloud seeding is a technique sometimes employed to help increase precipitation in certain areas.
A rain drop if it is rain and a snow flake if it is snow.
When snow accumulates on a mountain, it compacts over time to form layers of ice. These layers can gradually increase in thickness to become a glacier. The process involves the gradual transformation of snow into dense, compacted ice due to pressure and temperature changes.

ice + cloud = snow
A "Nimbus Cloud" is a cloud that produces precipitation. Most likely a Hail or Snow Cloud.

ice + cloud = snow
All snow begins as snow through what is called the Bergeron process. Water droplets within a cloud get drawn to the tiny ice crystals in the cloud due to their lower vapor pressure. In doing so, they diffuse onto the ice crystals, causing them to grow. When they become large enough, they fall out of the cloud as snowflakes.
