ammonium hydroxide is a basic or alkaline salt & phenolphthelin gives pink colour in basic medium because it is a basic indicator
apparently it turns purple
Blue/Purple
Purple:)
The pH of the base ammonia is, depending on its concentration between 11.1 (0.1M) and 12.1 (10M) so the color of the most common Yamada's Universal Indicator will be purple (or blue if pH < 11, ready to use household ammonia)
It wouldn't change at all as it is neutral
Copper oxide will turn blue or purple when Universal Indicator is put on it.If you found this helpful, please rate me :)
I belive its red or my nose
It depends on the concentration of the ammonia solution as the universal indicator can show a huge variety of colors.
blue because it is a weak alkali
pH of ammonia is around 11-12. Hence when you put it in a universal indicator, you get purple color.
Purple:)
red
Green
The Universal Indicator would go green which is pH 7.
universal indicator solution can be used to determine acid or base at the same time . Its changes its colour and helps in determing the chwmical property
Green
A dark purple.
red. on the PH scale it is 1.
