They're both increasing, in pretty good correlation with each other. Most of the increase in carbon dioxide is a result of human activities. Additionally, and similarly, much of the observed increase in temperature is a result of humans.

They both have increased.

What evidence indicates that the rising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are caused by the combustion of fossil fuels?

the average global temp and the atmospheric co2 level has risen

What is the relationship betwee carbon dioxide and atmospheric temperature?

CO2 is a greenhouse gas, meaning that as atmospheric levels of it rise, the temperature should gradually increase. This has, in fact, been observed.

In which layer does temperature decrease as altitude increases?

Temperature will decrease as the altitude increases at all levels due to the thinning of atmospheric gasses.

Why will a rise in temperature result in a rise of sea levels?

Atmospheric pressure will rise due to the heat level

What gas is produced when we burn fossil fuel. How does the gas contribute to global warming?

Fossil fuel is comprised largely of carbon. The oxidation reduction of this carbon (combination of the carbon with atmospheric oxygen) liberates carbon dioxide gas. CO2 is a heat trapping gas. Ergo, raising CO2 levels is expected to raise global temperature levels, and this has been observed.
