To build a new road through a rainforest you have to destroy all of its surroundings and destroy all the plants and trees in the way, and it can ruin the soil forever and it takes away some of the natural beauty of the rainforest. It can bring in settlers who want to take away some of the cattle ranchers land, and may murder them for it.

The road makes it easier for people to illegally cut down trees and to plant soy, palm oil, or for cows to be farmed, as it makes access easier. Also the road has destroyed trees in turn destroying animals’ homes and habitats. The soil will become infertile and will not be able to support any tree growth. The roads will also disrupt the native tribes that live in the rainforest (in the Amazon rainforest there are over 400 indigenous tribes) and could possibly destroy their homes and might make the animals they eat leave so they have no food.
