Gravity
Isostasy is the balance between the weight of the Earth's lithosphere pushing down and the buoyant force of the underlying asthenosphere pushing up. This balance helps to maintain the overall stability of the Earth's crust.
The force pushing upward on the continental crust is isostatic rebound, caused by the buoyancy of the less dense continental crust floating on the denser mantle. The downward force is from the weight of the overlying rock and sediments, as well as tectonic forces like subduction or compression.
The largest force that keeps the Earth circling the sun is gravity. Gravity is the force of attraction between the Earth and the sun that keeps the Earth in its orbit.
The force that pulls an object toward earth also pulls the earth toward the object. The two forces are equal. Together, we refer to them as the force of gravity.
The force that holds the atmosphere to the Earth is gravity. Gravity is the force of attraction between all objects and it keeps the gases in our atmosphere close to the Earth's surface.
Gravity
The force that works against isostatic adjustment is typically referred to as tectonic forces. These forces include compression, extension, and shear created by the movement of tectonic plates. These forces can cause the crust to deform and adjust, disrupting the isostatic equilibrium.
When gravitational force and buoyant force are balanced on the lithosphere, the rock is in isostatic equilibrium. This means that the rock is neither sinking nor rising in response to the forces acting on it.

The stars so they say.

An admiral controls a task force or fleet of ships.
No force orbits around the Earth. Forces do not orbit. The force that keeps material objects in orbit around the Earth is the mutual force of gravity between the Earth and the object.
Well.................. the gravitational force of earth exerts a force of 9.8m/s squared.
