Most of Earth's fresh water falls to the ground as rain.
On Earth, gravity pulls objects like crumbs downward towards the ground. In space, there is microgravity, so there is no force pulling the crumbs in a specific direction. As a result, crumbs in space would tend to float around rather than fall to the ground.
That is called rain. Rain is formed when water droplets in clouds combine to create larger droplets that fall to the ground due to gravity.
It is called precipitation.
Solid white flakes of water that fall from the sky are known as snow. Snow forms when water vapor in the atmosphere freezes into ice crystals and falls to the ground.
Rain forms when water droplets in the atmosphere combine and become heavy enough to fall to the ground. This can happen through a process called condensation, where water vapor in the air cools and turns back into liquid. Once enough water droplets have gathered, they fall to the ground in the form of precipitation, which we experience as rain.
By Precipitation like rain and snow fall. Wnen the sun evaporates water from the sea then the minerals mixed with the water left behind in the sea and only the fresh water go up as gas. And then fall as fresh water(rain). then it goes under the ground. while going underground the soil and rock filters it. so earth's fresh water comes from ground water. "I Guess"
The local fresh water fall
Tides
Runoff
No when there density increases
Gravity.
The reason there is a concern about the availability of fresh drinking water and rightly so, is perhaps because for one thing the water covering the planet is salted and extracting the salt from the water is a costly exercise. Also you should understand that fresh water is not tap water as that water is deadly and polluted. Also the lack f rain fall in some areas will reduce the availability of fresh water, comes from the hills and mountains and flows underground. It is almost impossible to capture this water in its' natural state, which leads me to believe that even bottle water is not fresh water. You can only get FRESH water at the point where it comes out of the ground.
The main sources of fresh water on land are snow and rain which fall as precipitation.
because of the earths gravity, everything exept for helium filled balloons falls to the ground
Precipitation
Water vapor is important because it creates clouds and it's water molecules combine to form water droplets that can either fall to the ground as rain, or freeze and fall to the ground as sleet, snow, or hail.
Fresh water clams live in fresh water and salt water clams live in salt water. There are both freshwater and saltwater clams. Mussels fall into this category as well. See the related links for both.
