I'm guessing it is harmless if you swollow since it is simply just adding one oxygen atom to the H2O molecule. BUT DO NOT TRY IT I'M NOT COMPLETELY SURE!!!!! If you swollow it on purpose you will soon after see a brick fly at you.
Actually the hydrogen peroxide is effective at killing microorganisms and cells and so it could harm you if you swallowed a lot.
you instantly die if you swallow over 20 litres. believe me, i have tried this, i am dead. so dont try at home :)
Actually, Hydrogen Peroxide can be harmful if swallowed in large quantities, or if a small dosage with a high concentration is ingested. While technically it is just 'one oxygen to the H2O molecule', that is not all that it really is. H2O2 has chemical differences with water, including it's pH level and that it is a strong oxidizer. If you accidentally ingest some H2O2, check the concentration of it. Less than 5% will probably just give you a stomach ache and you should drink water to flush it out of your system. If the concentration is higher than that, immediately go see a doctor or call poison control. Good thing is, most pharmaceutical H2O2 will have a concentration less than 5% for safety reasons, and higher concentrations usually have to be bought at a chemical store or found in a chemistry lab or some such place. But just in case? Don't swallow it.
Hydrogen peroxide can be diluted with water and used as a gargle but should never be swallowed. In the event you do swallow concentrated hydrogen peroxide, drink water and DO NOTattempt to vomit. Contact your physician should you begin to feel ill.
The material most commonly called "hydrogen peroxide", especially by non-chemists, is a solution of the solute hydrogen peroxide in water as the solvent.
No, hydrogen peroxide refers to the chemical compound H2O2, which is a colorless liquid. Hydrogen peroxide solution is a diluted form of hydrogen peroxide mixed with water, commonly found in concentrations of 3% or 0.5%.
Definitely not, it is safe to boil out infections and put in sores to kill bacteria but if you drink too much it it will kill you. you can try drinking some water to dilute it, if the amount was too much you will throw up, it is possible that you may require an internal tube to reduce severe distension due to the gas that forms.
Hydrogen peroxide is H2O2 For more information see related link.
yes! Kills the germs, bu do not swallow!! :)
Catalase is an enzyme that catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen gas. This reaction helps to break down harmful hydrogen peroxide into harmless water and oxygen.
No, it is not OK to use hydrogen peroxide to rub on a cat's gums for inflammation because it is too harsh a product. There is also the risk that the cat will swallow the hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide should never be used on: mucus membranes, open wounds, or internally. This applies to anyone or any animal. It kills cells on contact.

dihydrogen oxide, hydronium ion, Hydroperoxyl and Hydrogen peroxide
When hydrogen peroxide reacts with yeast, an enzyme called catalase in the yeast breaks down the hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen gas. This reaction is exothermic and produces bubbles of oxygen gas as a byproduct.

Hydrogen peroxide is a teeth whitener, google "hydrogen peroxide teeth."

When hydrogen peroxide and acetone react together, they can form a highly explosive compound called acetone peroxide. This compound is unstable and can detonate easily, making it very dangerous to handle.
H2O2 is the hydrogen peroxide.
The formula of hydrogen peroxide is H2O2
