They wold go right through each other

It would depend on the relative ohmic values of the environment, but most likely they would conjoin. Lightning travels down a channel of least resistance, and as it travels, it heats up and charges the path that it went down, creating plasma. Plasma is a good conductor. If two lightning strikes occurred at the same time, relatively close to one another, then if they crossed, they would most likely stay together. The path of least resistance would be the plasma channel that they created.

What happens to the glass ball on a lightning rod if it gets struck by lightning?

If a glass ball on a lightning rod is struck by lightning, it may shatter due to the extreme heat generated by the lightning strike. Additionally, the lightning may travel through the rod to the ground, protecting the building from damage.

What happens to the suns energy when it hits clouds ice and snow?

When the sun's energy hits clouds, ice, and snow, some of it is reflected back into space, some is absorbed and warms the surface, and some is scattered in different directions. The white surfaces of ice and snow reflect more sunlight, helping to cool the Earth.

When lightning hits a lightning rod where does the lightning go?

When lightning strikes a lightning rod, the rod provides a path of least resistance for the electricity to travel safely to the ground. The lightning is then conducted harmlessly into the earth, minimizing the risk of damage to nearby structures.

If a lighting strike hits a tornado what happens?

If lightning strikes a tornado, it can increase the intensity of the tornado but doesn't fundamentally change its behavior. Instead, the tornado may briefly light up and become more visible. Lightning hitting a tornado is a rare occurrence due to the unpredictability of both weather phenomena.

What is snow lightning?

Snow lightning is when it is snowing and there is lightning at the same time. It occurs because of the same principles of storm cloud lightning: convergence of distinct temperatures, heavy particles in clouds, and ionized air.
