Air pressure decreases as you move higher in the atmosphere. Air, just like any form of matter has mass, and when affected by earth's gravity, weight. The weight of air is pushing down on you with a force of 1 atmosphere at sea level. As you increase elevation the air pressure is reduced because there is less air to push down on you. Just like air, water pressure increases as you increase your depth in it, or any fluid. When air pressure decreases, temperature drops.

From ideal gas law P.V = n.R.T

Reduce of Pressure will effect V and T provide amount of gas remain constant.

It is either the Gas expand or temperature drop to balance the equation.

In reality, it occur both way.

First, if air pressure is too low, it becomes very difficult to inhale enough oxygen to breathe. If the air pressure is extremely low (far too low for a human to be able to breathe at all), then the internal pressure of the fluids in the body will force outward with much more force than the air pressure exerts in the opposite direction. This will cause the cells to rupture from their internal pressure, which, in turn, would kill you.

The former (difficulty breathing), is possible if someone goes to a very high elevation, such as the top of a tall mountain, too quickly (so that the body cannot acclimate to the lower pressure). The second, however, is probably not possible unless a person was placed in a near vacuum without pressurized protective gear (such as a spacesuit).

Low pressure is normally associated with precipitation. When a low pressure system approaches an area, that area can expect either clouds, rain, or even snow.

Normally when you have low pressure you get a fall in atmospheric pressure and a rise in moisture which leads to either rain and thunderstorms or snow and rain depending on the season.

What happens to the sind speed as the air pressure gets lower..why?

It increases. High pressure air always moves toward low pressure areas. When there is low pressure, the high pressure moves in, and the movement of air creates wind.

What happens to the freezing point of water when the air pressure is low?

It evaporates, because when it is low there is not enough CO2 to condense the air.

What happens to air pressure when the temperature drops?

When air pressure drops temperature also drops. Thus on high mountains low air pressure is accompanied by low temperature. This is true for high atmosphere also.

Low air pressure somehow usually happens during a storm so if a area has low pressure then they have more storms. Treble Slur

What if particles in the air are less crowded than in the surrounding air?

The surrounding air will rush into the less crowded air. When this happens, wind is created. This is what happens between low pressure systems and high pressure systems. Also, huge low pressure systems are prime locations for severe storms and super cells because of the strength of the wind.
