Did you mean Isthmus? Sounds almost the same. An isthmus is a narrow strip of land connecting two larger land masses. The most famous isthmus is the country of Panama.

There is an organization called the ITHMA.

I.T.H.M.A. Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy.

There is no English word ITHMAS.
