Chemical Cycling is the natural process of recycling nutrients/chemicals that plants and animals needs to stay alive and reproduce. Since the Earth doesn't receive new "shipments" of these chemicals, they have to be cycled continuously from organisms to their nonliving environment and back. Without this process there would be no air, water, soil, food, and life!

What type of cycling involves movement of chemical through the earth living thing and the atmosphere?

biogeochemical

What type of cycling involves movement of chemical elements through the earth living things in the atmosphere?

Biogeochemical cycling, also known as nutrient cycling, involves the movement of chemical elements through the earth, living organisms, and the atmosphere. This process includes the circulation of nutrients like carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus between living organisms and their physical environment, playing a crucial role in sustaining life on Earth.

What drives energy flow and chemical cycling on earth?

Energy flow on Earth is primarily driven by the sun through photosynthesis, where plants convert sunlight into chemical energy. Chemical cycling is driven by biogeochemical processes, such as the carbon, nitrogen, and water cycles, which involve the movement of elements and compounds between living organisms, the atmosphere, soil, and water bodies. These processes are essential for sustaining life on Earth.

What type of cycling movement of chemical elements through the earth living things and the atmosphere?

The cycling movement of chemical elements through the Earth, living organisms, and the atmosphere is known as biogeochemical cycles. These cycles involve processes such as the carbon cycle, nitrogen cycle, and water cycle, which play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of nutrients and resources necessary for life on Earth.

What causes energy flow and chemical cycling on earth?

Energy flow on Earth is primarily driven by the sun, as solar radiation fuels photosynthesis in plants which then forms the base of the food chain. Chemical cycling, on the other hand, is driven by biogeochemical processes involving the circulation of nutrients such as carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus through the atmosphere, water, and soil by living organisms. Together, these processes sustain life and maintain ecosystem stability.
