∙ 15y agoCoastal geology is the study of landforms and processes at the interface between the land and the sea. It involves understanding how waves, currents, tides, and sediment transport shape Coastlines, as well as the impact of sea-level change and human activities on coastal environments. Coastal geology plays a crucial role in coastal management and hazard assessment.
Coastal area soil can vary in color, but it is often influenced by the local geology and vegetation. Common colors of coastal area soil include sandy tones (light browns, tans), gray from high salt content, or hues of red and orange from iron oxide deposits.
Geology is a noun.
The verb form of geology is "geologize."
The Deccan Plateau is very dry unlike the coastal plains are rich in agriculture.

In geology, a fall line is the break between an upland region and a coastal plain. The coastal plain rocks are softer, while the upland region is made up of harder, crystalline rock.
