when there is alot of movement in the earths surface the soil moves these are the signs of an erosion.
Humans can speed up erosion by practices such as deforestation, mining, construction activities, and agriculture. These activities can disturb the natural landscape, remove vegetation cover, and create pathways for water and wind to carry away sediment, thereby accelerating erosion processes.
If vegetation is removed, the soil becomes more vulnerable to erosion from wind and water. Without vegetation to hold the soil in place, it can be easily washed away during rainfall or blown away by strong winds, leading to issues like desertification and loss of fertile topsoil. Additionally, the absence of plant roots can decrease the soil's ability to retain moisture and nutrients, affecting its overall health and productivity.
Erosion
the water erosian and tsumamies and floods
Erosian, weathering.
The think that goes after is erosian
erosian wares away anything any rock mineral or substance
Deforestation leads to loss of biodiversity, contributes to climate change due to increased carbon dioxide emissions, and disrupts local ecosystems and habitats. It also increases the risk of natural disasters like flooding and landslides.
it affects the high plains when it breaks down other marterial and than erosian happens and it blows everything away and than it stops and that is called deposition
Their roots flow through the sand and keep the dune together, instead of just flowing apart and dispersing from the wind.

Erosion
Himalayan blackberry is an aggressive alien plant that was introduced to the Pacific Northwest a little over a hundred years ago but has moved in and displaced many native species. It grows at a phenominal rate,up to 20 feet in one season. Along stream banks,it crowds out species that would normally set roots and control erosian. It does not set roots that effectively hold the soil together. In logged or burned over forests it stifles the restoration of desired native species by moving in almost immediately after the disturbance.Left to its own it will totally take over pastures, croplands and vacant lots.It climbs over fences, buildings, paths and roads. It is almost impossible to control as the least rootlet will produce a plant if one attemps to dig it out. There are chemical applications that can control it but they must be reapplied again and again. The fruit is delicious but never in short supply, which brings up one of the major ways it is spread far and wide, birds. Think of it as kudzu with viscious thorns and tastey berries.
