well firstly its got nothing to do with that its hydrogen so i guess its no!!

One mole of hydrogen contains 6.022 x 1023 atoms of hydrogen and weights 1 gram. The hydrogen will exists in the molecular [H2] and so there will be 3.011 x 1023 molecules of hydrogen.

The hydrogen molecule is diatomic, H2.

Is H an atom in chemistry?

H is the chemical symbol for Hydrogen and represents one hydrogen atom everywhere other than in a chemical equation where it represents one mole of hydrogen atoms.

What is the mass of one hydrogen deuterium atom in grams?

Approximately 2 / (6.022 x 1023) = 3.32 x 10-24 grams

How many grams of hydrogen are in one mole of water?

One mole of any substance contains 6.022x10 to the power of 23 molecules of that substance. A water molecule contains two hydrogen atoms so one molecule of water has 12.044x10 to 23 hydrogen atoms.

478 KiloJoules per mole

Why one mole of hydrogen molecule and one mole of hydrogen atoms have different masses?

because there are 2 hydrogen atoms in the molecule of hydrogen atoms

How many moles of hydrogen are needed to produce 13.78 mole of ethane?

methane has one carbon atom and 4 hydrogen atom.....so one mole of methane contains one mole of carbon and 4 moles of hydroge......for simplicity...one mole of water has two moles of hydrogen and one mole of oxygen....

How many hydrogen atoms are present in 1 mole of acetic acid or CH3COOH?

CH3COOH CH3COO- + H+So there is only one acidic H atom.[Only the 'bold' H atom is acidic, the 3 'methyl' H's are not!]

Why one mole of hydrogen molecules and one mole of hydrogen atoms have different masses?

Because each hydrogen molecule contains 2 hydrogen atoms!

The lighter the atom the less mass in one mole of that atom?

Correct, because if there are fewer protons and neutrons in an atom, it will have a lower mass.

What weighs more one mole of oxygen or one mole of sodium?

One atom of sodium weighs more than one atom of oxygen. Thus, one mole of sodium weighs more than one mole of oxygen.
