Southern Hemisphere
There is no such thing as half of the Earth. If you are referring to half of the spherical shape of the Earth then it will be a hemisphere.
The imaginary line that divides the Earth in half horizontally is called the equator. This line is situated at 0 degrees latitude and runs east-west, dividing the Earth into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
The icy areas at the top and bottom of the Earth are called the Arctic (at the North Pole) and the Antarctic (at the South Pole).
Each meridian is a half-circle from the north pole to the south pole of the earth.
Hemisphere: Is the center line that divides the world in half vertically Equator: Is the center line that divides the world horizontally. Both of these lines are imaginary lines drawn up on maps and globes.
Southern Hemisphere
Top or bottom half of the earth
it is called a denomenator.

The numerator. The bottom is called the denominator.
The Southern Hemispere
You couldmake the solar system orshow the earth @ the bottom, divide background in half & paint half sun half moon
Southern Hemisphere
hemisphere
Since space does not have an up-down distinction, there isn't really a part that could be called the bottom. However when represented on maps with the magnetic South near the top, the "bottom" is known as the Southern Hemisphere.
A hemisphere.
