"Anhydrous" means "without water." What they mean by that is, the item in question hasn't absorbed any, usually from the air. So, pick any salt you like - NaCl is pretty common - and as long as it hasn't absorbed water, it's anhydrous.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An anhydrous salt doesn't contain water of crystallization.
Example: MgSO4.7H2O is a hydrated salt (in this case a heptahydrate) and MgSO4 is the anhydrous form.
A humid salt is not a hydrate and the term anhydrous is not adequate for a dried substance.
Anhydrous Copper sulfate has the chemical formula CuSO4.
The formula for salt is NaCl i.e. SODIUM CHLORIDE.
The chemical formula for anhydrous ferrous nitrate, also called iron (II) nitrate, is Fe(NO3)2.
Calcium chloride has the formula CaCl2 if anhydrous. Potassium phosphate has the formula K3PO4.
NaCl It is a rock salt an ore for sodium
Anhydrous Copper sulfate has the chemical formula CuSO4.
The chemical formula for anhydrous sodium carbonate is Na2CO3.
It is Mg(NO3)2 when anhydrous and Mg(NO3)2.6H2O when hydrated
The chemical formula of barium chloride is BaCl2.The molecular mass is 208,23 g (for the anhydrous salt).
The formula for anhydrous calcium nitrate is Ca(NO3)2.
Theformula for anhydrous sodium carbonate is Na2CO3.
Anhydrous (dehydrated) Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate, MgSO4. The formula for the hydrate is MgSO4 (4H2O)
Anhydrous sodium sulphate is Na2SO4
The chemical formula for anhydrous magnesium nitrate is Mg(NO3)2.
The term anhydrous means, does not contain water. H2O is the chemical formula for water. Hence, it is the opposite of anhydrous. It is the most hydrous of all substances.
NH3 and salt is NaCl
NH3,1 nitrogen atom,3 hydrogen atoms.R-717 for Refridgeration purpose.
