As this question is in the "Global Warming" section, let me add that these gases are relatively thermodynamically inert. So comparing heat trapping gases against them makes no more sense than comparing the weight of the atmosphere to the weight of earth's oceans.

Our concern is whether the abundance of greenhouse gas in our atmosphere is growing (it is), why that is occurring (human consumption of fossil fuels), and what we ought to do about it--either nothing, if we don't fear the consequences, or considered efforts towards reducing GHG emissions.
