Under $300 per barrel for the gasoline produced. Read this and the link found on the page http://www.rense.com/general76/cost.htm Under 50 cents per gallon, 42 gallon barrel with net 19.2 gallons gasoline per barrel. Varies due to weather and other factors but this is apparently the average. Crude oil gets changed into petroleum gas, gasoline, oils, tar, and asphalt.
The total volume of the non-gaseous products will be not much different than the crude.
The price of a barrel of oil increases as it passes through the refining process. According to the US Department of Energy for each dollar you spend at the pump:
These costs change with the cost of crude oil and its type (some are harder to refine)
not as much as the oil companies want us to believe!

Actually raw oil contains substances like more cholesterol and unsaturated fat and even certain % of wax, so unless its refined it's not good for health, refined oil is good for health.
No.
At first, the CRUDE OIL was refined or made into kerosene for lighting. Gasoline and other products made during the refining were thrown away because people had no use for them. This all changed when Henry Ford began mass producing automobiles in the 1890's. Everyone wanted an automobile, and they all ran on gasoline. So the answer to the petroleum as it comes from wells is called crude oil.
It is more plentiful, most likely a never ending supply. It is renewable (through the natural process of evaporation/rain). It requires no refining (processing). It is cleaner, no emissions, better for the environment. It is safer (no refinery explosions or oil spills).

Zawia Oil Refining Company was created in 1976.
by refining crude oil
It separates crude oil into fractions consisting of compounds with similar properties

refinin oil means to heat the oil to separate it into chemicals
cost of refining the crude oil ofcourse... In the UK diesel is more expensive than normal unleaded petrol.
?did JDRockefeller own 90 percent of the oil refining business in the 1880
First he gained controlling of the oil refining business, then he got control from where the oil came out of the ground, how it was moved to and from refiners, and finally retailed to the consumer. When he said he knew ways of making money that you do not know, he was talking about cost savings from economy's of scale.
