Faults are actually the reason earthquakes start. A fault is two Techtonic Plates
rubbing against each other, creating tension and stress. When the
tension and stress overcomes the strength of the fault, the two plates slip/move,
causing the ground to move in various ways, which is also called an earthquake.
Techtonic Plates: plates made up of the earths crust that are moving along a
layer of magma inside the earth, called the mantle.

A fault is the zone where two tectonic plates meet. An earthquake is vibration through the earth caused when the two plates on a fault line slide past each other.
An earthquake is the sudden shaking of the grounddue to the energy released by sudden movement along a fault line in the earth's crust. The epicenter is a point on the earth's surface directly above the focus of the earthquake. The focus is the point underground where the fault line starts rupturing.
It is the same
No an earthquake is caused because in that certain area where the earthquake was , there was a fault line.
a counrty not on the fault like is unlikly to have a earthquake
The fault is what causes an earthquake by sliding together, making friction.
An earthquake is the sudden shaking of the grounddue to the energy released by sudden movement and breaking of rocks along fault lines in the earth's crust. The epicenter is a point on the earth's surface directly above the focus of the earthquake. The focus is the point underground where the fault line starts rupturing.
The focus is under the crust along the fault line.
An Earthquake.
the fault that is assicuated with the 1964 earthquake in Alaska is a reverse fault
The largest earthquake fault is San Andreas fault.
