Uranium is found in these body parts(percentages):

brain-2.2% (Uranium Cranium! lol jK about the joke)

heart-.001% (little found in the chambers)

liver-0%

Chode-100%

Reproductive system- 69%

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Somehow the numbers above don't add up. Remember the percentages would be percentages of total uranium rather than percentages of total mass.

Uranium isn't believed to be a required mineral for the body. However, it is a mineral that is found in most soils in trace amounts, and trace amounts have been found in the body including the kidneys and the bone.

There are some minerals such as lead that are able to displace other required minerals in the body (Iron). It is possible that uranium would also displace required minerals in the body.

Keep in mind that Uranium is not the only naturally occurring radioactive substance. For example, some very common elements have radioactive isotopes.

Carbon-14 is very common, and is found in the human body.

Tritium (Hydrogen-3) is also found in trace amounts in the environment and thus in the human body.
