The below answer is wrong because an ore is a mineral or rock bearing a metal. The metal has to be extracted from an ore as it is not in its pure form. Some sodium ores are sodium chloride and halite.

nothing because it can be rarely found naturally so only in salt so basically there is no ore if you understand me =s

i am not sure about its ores, but i know the common way to extract sodium is to electrolyze sodium chroide (salt)

Well. Sodium has a lot of ore. I know some of them.

  1. Rocksalt -> NaCl
  2. Natron -> Na2CO3.H2O
  3. Soda Feldspar -> Na2O.Al2O3.6SiO2
  4. Borax -> Na2B4O7.10H2O
  5. Chile Saltpeter -> NaNO3
