It can be any shape
The shape of a rock that has just been broken off is usually irregular and angular, with rough edges where the break occurred. This is due to the fracturing process that creates jagged surfaces on the newly exposed areas of the rock.
the shape and size of the sediments
The breakdown of rock is the process by which rocks are broken down into smaller pieces through physical or chemical weathering. Once rocks are broken down, they can be removed through erosion, transportation, and deposition by processes such as wind, water, ice, or gravity. This cycle of breakdown and removal of rock is part of the rock cycle and helps shape the Earth's surface over time.
Broken pieces of rock are called fragments or rubble.
When a solid rock deforms and then returns to its original shape, it is known as elastic deformation. The rock doesn't break under pressure, but instead changes its form, and after the pressure is released the rock goes back to its shape.
i would describe it as the shape of a rock been broken down into pieces
The shape of a rock that has just broken off a larger block of rock is either amorphous or jagged. It will eventually undergo weathering and become smooth.
The shape of a rock that has just broken off a larger block of rock would likely be irregular with rough and jagged edges where it separated from the main block. It may also exhibit a fractured surface where the break occurred.

Because of all the other stuff in space it hits deforms the shape. To be honest it most likely wern't a good shape to start with as they are just bits of rock broken off from planets etc.
the shape and size of the sediments
If the original rock is eroded or broken away and then returned to sedimentary-forming conditions, it will form another sedimentary.
A ruby is a gem. It's like asking, "what is the geometric shape of a rock?" You make the rock or ruby or diamond or whatever have a shape when you cut it. It doesn't just come with one naturally.
Rocks differ due to texture, hardness, color and shape.
It can be changed by being broken down in the weathering process just like all rocks. The resulting sediment can then be lithified to for a sedimentary rock.
Any rock can be broken up and later form a sedimentary rock.
