A knickpoint is a term in geomorphology to describe a location in a river or channel where there is a sharp change in channel slope, such as a waterfall or lake, resulting from differential rates of erosion above and below the knickpoint.
Essentially, the only types of rock that can stand up to this type of erosion are igneous and metamorphic rocks. I am not certain there is a technical or scientific term for this type of rock, but the colloquial or "slang" term for them is river rocks.

Haematuria is the term that means there is visible blood in the urine. Usually caused by kidney stones or a bladder infection. Possibly caused by more serious conditions such as cancer.
