The Lithosphere and/or Crust
The Earth is made up of several layers, divided by sub-layers, divided by even more sub-layers. There is the core, which is mostly made up of solid iron; the outer core which is up to 10% liquid so still contains a lot of solid rock; the lower mantle which is ductile (solid rock that is not completely melted but still solid in a 'plastic' state), the upper mantle which consists of crystalline forms of olivine and pyroxenes among some other solid materials, and then the crust which on average is about 40 km thick. Whereas the crust is made of solid rock, there are other layers that are solid rock as well.
the mantle is made up of solid hot rock.
The Earth crust is made up with two layers known as " sial"and "sima". "sial" is the uppermost layer which composition is silica(si) and aluminum(al), that's why it is call "sial" and this layer comprises all the three rock types i. e. Igneous, sedimentary and Metamorphic rock. The second layer "sima" is formed with silica(si) and magnesium(ma). "sima' is generally composed of Basaltic rock.
Lithification.
Well, it's made up of compressed rock. Another person asked this question and this is the answer: "The Earth's mantle, other than the uppermost hard, rocky layer, is composed of rock in a pliable solid state." Hope this helps and answers your question.
the crust is made up of solid rock and mantle is made up of molten rocks
The second layer
No layer is truly made of liquid rock. The mantle is sometimes, inaccurately, said to be liquid rock when it is in fact solid, albeit relatively soft. The outer core is liquid, but it consists of liquid metal, not rock.
The solid rock forms the Earth's crust on which we live.

the two layers of rock that made up of mantle is the solid rock and liquid rock
The Mantle and Uuter Core are both made up of molten, though extremely viscous, rock. The Inner Core is believed to be Nickel/Iron alloy, and solid as the pressure prevents melting.
Rock.
The mantle
Thin, light rock layer.
