molecular formula
Molecules are made of different atoms joined together through chemical bonds.
No. According to electronegativities, it is Covalent. Ionic is between a metal and a nonmetal
Yes, water is a polar molecule. Yes, a molecule consists of two or more elements... water consists of one Oxygen atom with two Hydrogen atoms... hence H2O. Yes. It is 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen
A diatomic compound is a molecule composed of two atoms of the same or different elements bonded together. Examples include hydrogen (H2), oxygen (O2), and nitrogen (N2). These molecules are typically more stable in pairs due to the sharing of electrons between the atoms.
an atomAnswer:In the atmosphere nitrogen is present as a diatomic molecule. Two atoms of nirogen (the element) are always joined together into one molecule.
The atoms in a molecule are summarised by the molecular formula. The molecular formula is the identity and numbers of its constituent atoms.
A molecule
covalent. It's a dissacharide made of one glucose molecule and one fructose molecule joined via a glycosidic bond
A compound.
Molecules are made of different atoms joined together through chemical bonds.
The term molecule or compound best defines two or more atoms joined by a chemical bond.
Glucose is a covalent molecular compound. It consists of individual glucose molecules joined together by covalent bonds between the atoms within each molecule. Covalent network compounds involve an extended network of covalent bonds extending throughout the structure, which is not the case for glucose.
A compound
2 or more atoms joined together form a suspension, solution, mixture, or compound. I don't know what kind of joining together you are talking about so it could be any of the ones i had just mentioned.
A molecule or a compound
I don't think there is a such thing, sorry. a molecule isn't the same as a compound. They are 2 different things a molecule is the smallest physical unit of an element or compound, consisting of one or more like atoms in an element and two or more different atoms in a compound. A compound is not. Hope this helps. =)
Diamonds are made up of many carbon atoms joined together to form a 'giant structure', so it is not a molecule, therefore it doesn't have a molecular name
