Intrusive Igneous Rock
The type of rock that forms deepest inside Earth is known as igneous rock. This type of rock is created from the solidification of magma deep within the Earth's crust or mantle. Examples of igneous rocks that form deep inside the Earth include granite and basalt.
Igneous rock forms when melted rock from inside the Earth cools and hardens. This process can happen either beneath the Earth's surface, forming intrusive igneous rock, or at the surface, forming extrusive igneous rock. Examples include granite, basalt, and obsidian.
The molten material deep inside Earth is called magma. When magma cools and solidifies, it forms igneous rock.
Igneous rock. Extrusive igneous rock forms at or near the surface, intrusive igneous rock forms below the surface.
Well, all of the layers inside the Earth is going through a cycle. Metamorphic rock melts into magma, and when the magma cools it forms into Igneous rock. By weathering and erosion, the Igneous rock slowly decomposes into sediments which over the years hardens and turns into Sedimentary rock. The Sedimentary rock experiences heat and pressure, which turns it into Metamorphic rock and the cycle starts again. Some of these changes in the rock are happening inside the Earth, and when rock is formed from cooling magma it makes huge forms on the earth like the Grand Canyon. Intrusive igneous rock.
Melted rock that forms inside the Earth is called magma. When magma rises to the surface and erupts through a volcano, it is referred to as lava. Magma can solidify underground to form igneous rocks once it cools and crystallizes.
