It was hot and humid. There tropical rain forests, long stretches of desert, and many small ponds. There were volcanoes everywhere. Sometimes there would be mile long fields where volcanic vents in the ground would release deadly gasses and kill dinosaurs who were too close to the ground. A tyrannosaurus rex was able to survive in these fields for several minutes if he kept his head up.
The thing is no one really knows. Since the Jurassic period was before humankind existed, there are no records (obviously) of what the land looked like in that time. Scientists believe that it looked semi-similar to our world today. The differences would be less sun, more earthquakes and a reddish atmosphere (from all of the soot and ash expelled from volcanoes). There is a lot of plant life that has gone extinct since then, and those would obviously be flourishing in that time.
The earth would have being Barron and rock faced depending on the area some areas were nice peaceful grassy areas were herbivore's would grace and super predator's would hunt so it depends on the area you would be better watching primeval or walking with dinosaurs any show like that would give a clear answer
