the current world grain harvest is 1.85 billion tons.even if this harvest were expanded to 2 billion tons in the future ,it could support 10 billion people who eat like a typical indian,or 2.2 billion people with the average diet of a person living in united states
Humans emit over 30 billion tons of CO2 per year. Before the industrial revolution CO2 measured about 200 parts per million. Today it exceeds 400 ppm, and by 2050 we expect to exceed 500 ppm. The entire atmosphere weighs about 5x1018 kg, of which 78% is nitrogen (N2) and 21% is oxygen (O2). 0.04% is CO2. The atomic mass of carbon is 12, and oxygen is 16, so carbon is 12/(12+16+16) or 27% of the mass of CO2. Multiplying these numbers together, we obtain the total mass of carbon locked up as CO2 in our atmosphere: 0.27 x .0004 x 5x1018 kg = 540 trillion kg of carbon. This amounts to about 600 billion tons currently. The addition of 8 billion tons a year may not seem like much in comparison, but it is cumulative. In 40 years that will be another 300 billion tons of carbon.
9 billion tons are dropped in thee ocean pur year and 33% of rubbish is fast food items
There is some discussion of this in Jeff Goodell's "Big Coal." 25% of the world's "recoverable" coal deposits are in the United States (270 billion tons.) Russia is next with 176 billion tons, much of which is in areas difficult to mine. This information is on page xvi in the introduction of his book. You will probably find move specific information about your question if you investigate his book's sources as listed in the Notes section of his book.

3 short tons is 6000 pounds. 3 long tons is 6600 pounds. 3 metric tons is a bit over 6600 pounds. All three of these are well over 3000 pounds.
All the gold in the world. In the entire history of mankind, less then 150,000 tonnes of gold has been mined. Less than three Olympic swiming pool's by voume.

The Big Ben mechanism weighs 5 tons.
Weigh, not way. Oh no: much more. Our Earth masses (for technical reasons, we can't really say "weighs") about 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 tons (that's a "sextillion," when you want to say it out loud). By comparison, 4.5 billion is only 4,500,000,000.
