First off, it's not just factories. Ships, cities, bad agricultural practives, dumping, air pollution and other factors are polluting the ocean. All this in conjunction with the impacts of global warming.
If the contamination of the seas continues, an impact on fish stocks and the general health of the ocean ecosystems will certainly occur.
