I have a penny beside me soaking in Hydrogen Peroxide. after about half an hour it gained some small bubbles all over the penny, you would think being copper the penny would oxidize and turn green. This does not appear to be happening yet, however, it may be that the penny has an oxide protection covering it - either that or it would take more time.
Why not try it your self and see?
Hydrogen Peroxide is available at nearly every grocery store and I am sure you have a penny or two laying around.
Orange Juice contains citric acid, citric acid has a cleaning effect to it. Orange juice would presumably clean a penny.
yes
Hi
Peroxide is an compound that can be a part of another chemical to form a molecule. Hydrogen peroxide is two hydrogen atoms attached to a peroxide molecule, forming hydrogen peroxide. Peroxide itself (O2) only exists as molecular oxygen when it is not attached to another chemical.
They are different compounds, although all of them contain the same peroxide ions.
Because you rinsed your mouth out with peroxide.
The formula for Cesium Peroxide is: Cs2O2
yes

The peroxide ion (O22-) is a base. Hydrogen peroxide is mildly acidic.
Peroxide is a noun.
Peroxide is not an element but it is an ion
peroxide = O2-2
1:2 of peroxide and water
There is no such thing as peroxide gas.... peroxide isn't a chemical, it is a part of a chemical. You can have hydrogen peroxide or sodium peroxide for instance, or other types of peroxides, but not just peroxide. But generally peroxides are strong oxidizing agents and are not healthy to ingest.
No, Hydrogen Peroxide will not cure acne... Benzyl Peroxide, will however help it.
No. Peroxide is a solution of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in water. Ammonia (NH3) is completely different.
Hydrogen peroxide is a teeth whitener, google "hydrogen peroxide teeth."
what is the formula of nitrogen peroxide
Peroxide
