you would want to have a batholith, becaus it is much bigger than a sill. your goal when mining is to get a much of the minerl as possible and a batholith has more granite becuse it is bigger.
1. Granite is a course-grained intrusive silicic igneous rock, it is a nonmetallic resource. Therefore they are not malleable nor a conductor. Even though granite contains metal ions, the minerals in granite contain relatively little metal, so it would cost more to separate the metal from the granite.
The granite would be older because it had to form first in order for the sandstone to contain pieces of it. The sandstone would have formed later on top of the granite layer.
If a granite rock is made of smaller crystals, it would be called fine-grained or fine-grained granite.
Stone Mountain in Georgia, USA is not the largest piece of granite in the world. It is a prominent landmark and does contain one of the largest single masses of exposed granite, but there are larger granite formations globally.
The metamorphism of granite would likely result in the formation of gneiss, a coarse-grained foliated rock with distinct bands of minerals. The high temperature and pressure during metamorphism would cause the minerals in the granite to recrystallize and align, giving gneiss its characteristic banded appearance.
Granite would be the better choice simply becaue it
A batholith is the largest intrusive igneous formation, made up of a large mass of granite or granitic rocks, that covers an area of tens to hundreds of square kilometers. Sill, dike, and laccolith are all smaller intrusive igneous formations. Laccolith is larger than sill or dike, with a typically flat base and arched roof, intruding between sedimentary rock layers.
Definately Granite maul, it hits alot better, isn't as fast, but it also has a very good special attack. So..i would suggest using the Granite maul.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial is located along the northeast edge of what is known as the Harney Peak Granite Batholith in the Black Hills of South Dakota. A batholith is a geologic feature that formed by the cooling of a large igneous body of magma below the earth's surface; if a similar igneous body reaches the earth's surface, it would form a volcanic feature such as a lava flow. The Black Hills magma was emplaced into the older "host" mica schist rocks during Precambrian time, approximately 1.7 billion years ago! Source: National Park Service
Maul is absolutly better... when i played (a year or 2 ago)
Batholith rock.
The largest type of intrusive structure is a batholith, which is a massive body of igneous rock that covers an area greater than 100 square kilometers. Batholiths are formed from the slow cooling and solidification of magma deep within the Earth's crust.

Granite is an igneous rock.
would granite be a good isolator to stand speaker stands on.
ANSWER #1: Well im not sure wether granite is better then rune (i hear alot of rumours) but I can run from the G.E to falador with full granite with only lvl 9 agility and that makes like no difference....it is only a little better. right now, its close to being almost 100k more than rune pl8. its really heavy, and only give alittle bit more than the rune pl8. i would stick with the rune if i were you. . .another one is dragon pl8 skirt and legs. same stats, but the legs are alomst 1m and the skirt is like 170k.ANSWER #2: Granite is better defence stats apart from the helm so if i was you i would buy full granite but with a rune full helm that way you have the most amount of defence stats and its lighter than if you had the granite helm on
